When a student says, I hate writing, we take it as a challenge, a catalyst. The beginning of listening, encouraging, and telling stories, of hard work and edits. And later, we hear the transformation—I am proud of my work. I am an author. And honestly, we don’t know of a better ending.
By volunteering, you can be a part of this. Volunteers are the heart and energy of our work. Whether you want to work directly with our students or you would prefer a behind-the-scenes, eyes-peeled-for-comma-splices job, we want to hear from you!
