GonzoFest Journalism Workshop!

Young Authors Greenhouse and Louisville Magazine are looking for high school students to put their pencil-sharp ears to the ground and give the scoop on GonzoFest!

We are looking for ten high-school writers to go behind-the-scenes at GonzoFest to interview musicians and artists and write articles that will be published within Louisville Free Public Library! GonzoFest is a literary and music festival honoring Hunter S. Thompson’s legacy in art, music, and literature.  To prepare the young journalists for this job, staff at Louisville Magazine will give a three-hour workshop—supplying sage advice and tricks of the trade!

❧ The journalism workshop is at Louisville Magazine

137 W Muhammad Ali Blvd

❧ GonzoFest is at the Main Library

301 York Street

❧ The journalism workshop is on April 7, from 9am to 12pm

❧ GonzoFest is on April 14, all day!
